Joseph is currently certified as a strength & conditioning specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Joe has aspirations on continuing his education at Syracuse University with a Masters degree in the Exercise Science.

Joseph graduated with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Scranton. During his four years at the university, he was captain of the men's ice hockey team. Following graduation, he became the head coach of the junior varsity team at the Hill School, in Pennsylvania. Joseph is also a native of Pottstown, PA and has been playing hockey since the early age of five.
